Flights  The nearest airport is Girona, approx 50 mins drive away. Ryanair fly here from many UK airports such as Stansted, Bournemouth and Glasgow Prestwick.  Prices are very competitive in the high season to a giveaway in low season, ranging from £150 return to £20 return respectively.

You can also fly to Barcelona from various UK airports but this option can be a bit more expensive. Check British Airways, Easyjet, Aer Lingus

Car Hire  Due to the location, car hire is advisable.  Ryanair have a hire agreement with Hertz which makes online booking simple.  A group 1 car hire for one week would be approx. £130.

Another option is through Holiday Autos  You need to book seperately but the prices are less expensive, the cost for a group 1 hire for one week would be approx. £100. All hire companies have excess options, so shop around.

Trains  You can catch regular trains to Girona, Barcelona and Figueres.

Bus  Buses also run from Palafrugell to Barcelona (2 hours), Girona (1 hour) and most local towns.
